Burberry’s New Paris Flagship
Burberry has opened their new, three story flagship in the heart of Paris’ luxury design district, Rue Saint-Honoré. The building offers a luxury concept which connects the brand’s past, present and future whilst also celebrating its founder, Thomas Burberry.
Gianluca Flore, chief commercial officer at Burberry, commented on the opening “the store represents all that we stand for as a brand – being authentic, bold and creative – and we look forward to inspiring our customers with a truly elevated British luxury experience in this iconic setting.”
The store has been designed in collaboration with architect Vincenzo de Cotiis, with inspiration being taken from the signature Burberry check; use of the brand’s core colours (beige, black, white and red), mirrored ceilings with intersecting metallic grids and tiled chequerboard floors.
There are also a variety of textures used throughout the store, from concrete to high-gloss finishes, juxtaposing brutalist elements with luxurious materials to create a modern feel.
