Sexual assault and abuse is a growing international epidemic. Voices Beyond Assault are a non-profit organisation who provide year-round advocacy to ensure all survivors of sexual assault and abuse can access the tools they’ll need to help rebuild their lives. This charity has developed programs and educational resources for not just survivors and allies, but even for public and private institutions. Voices Beyond Assault aim to combat sexual violence through increased education and advocacy, with a goal to provide a Prevention Curriculum for secondary, post secondary, and professional institutions.

Today it was announced that our very own, Ayesha Perry-Iqbal, advocate for survivors of assault and survivor herself, will be heading the new domestic violence division at Voices Beyond Assault! Our MUSE is looking forward to bringing more awareness about sexual and domestic violence in hopes of empowering the lives of all survivors who have and are experiencing assault.

Ayesha has also assisted on the development of a new brunch series in partnership with NeueHouse in Hollywood which kicks off on May 19th. This gathering will bring survivors together to share incredible stories, offer each other support, learn and heal.
